-
- I see two options:
-
- 1) Use y- or z-modem, both of which pass the filename in the
- protocol, and the versions I've used on the IRIS take a list of
- filenames, and the shell expands wildcards for you. The PD versions
- I've seen have x-, y-, and z-modem in the same package.
-
- 2) Put the files into an archive on the IRIS, transfer the archive,
- then un-archive on the PC. You will need to have the same archiver
- on both machines. I just saw a UN*X version of ZIP go by recently
- on comp.sources.misc. ZIP is a very popular archiver on the PC. I
- haven't yet tried compiling this version, but earlier releases have
- compiled easily on the IRIS.
