- Ok guys, Time to put this to an end.
- First in reply to Mr Logie: May I suggest something really radical?
- Like asking Pyramid Support!. The phone No is 008-027962. So as well as
- getting some answers, you don't even pay for the call ;-).
-
- Now in responce to Mr Bestel. You have some quite novel Ideas!.
- Sysadm in OSx 5.1 !!!!!!!!!. Is this a secret port that only exists
- in the land of softway?? Please share it with the rest of us. I'm sure
- we'd all be interested!. And I'm quite sure that an "ls -al /dev/ios0"
- would show thus: crw------- 1 root 44, 0 Feb 11 1990 /dev/ios0
- But what would this prove?. This is OSx remember Not SVr4.
-
- And finally a warning to all.. Regardless of what Mr Bestel implies,
- there is a big difference between Single ended and Differential. If you
- get it wrong you CAN release some of the smoke that makes all the little
- chips work!. And as we all know, once that smoke is released there is no
- way of putting it back ;-).
