- Well, I can enlighten you somewhat.

- Obviously, CMD is for command. The "0" is because in ancient times, the "run"
- command would look for stuff on CMDNC0, then CMDNC1, and so on. At the moment,
- the meaning of "NC" eludes me, but I'm sure either Mike Sporer (now at DG),
- Mark Johnson (now at Oracle), or Bernie Stumph (don't know where he's at, and I
- think I've misspelled his name), could give you the full low down.
