- MEETING NOTICE

- Worldwide PenPoint Developers Organization
- (WPDO)

- PURPOSE: The goal of the WPDO is to serve the needs of PenPoint
- developers. To this end, the WPDO sponsors monthly
- meetings where developers and/or GO representatives make
- technical presentations and answer YOUR questions. Other
- WPDO services include a newsletter, a BBS, training
- classes, distribution of developer tools and sample
- programs, etc. As its name implies, the WPDO has
- affiliate chapters throughout the world. The WPDO is an
- independent nonprofit organization, not a division of the
- GO Corporation.

- MEETING AGENDA:
- 1. Summary of the Developer Surveys from last meeting.

- 2. Introduction of WPDO membership services and fees
- (bring your checkbook for your charter membership
- discount!).

- 3. Announcements (from WPDO, GO and attendees).

- 4. Two (parallel) Technical Presentations:

- a. A GO Engineer will discuss the PenPoint
- development environment; targeting the
- experienced developer.

- b. "Ask S"... a Question/Answer session hosted by
- S Page, from GO's Technical Support Dept;
- targeting the less experienced developer, or
- those who wish to find out about PenPoint.

- 5. Developer Question/Answer session followed by
- informal group discussions.

- WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- PenPoint developers, either novice or experienced...
- (or those who wish to learn about the PenPoint OS).

- COST: The September 10th meeting is free. At this meeting the
- WPDO membership services/fees will be announced, so bring
- your checkbook to take advantage of our charter
- membership discount.

- From Hwy 101: Take the Hillsdale Blvd exit. Go
- east on Hillsdale, toward Foster
- City. Left on Edgewater (i.e. 3rd
- light, ~1 mile from Hwy 101), then
- an immediate right into parking lot.
- Go Corp. is on 4th floor of the four
- story building.

- From East Bay: Take San Mateo bridge (Hwy 92) west,
- across bay. Take Hwy 101 south to
- Hillsdale Blvd. (the first exit).
- Follow the directions above.

- From Hwy 280: Take Hwy 92 east, then Hwy 101 south
- to Hillsdale Blvd. (the first exit).
- Follow the directions above.

- FUTURE MEETING DATES:
- Monthly meetings are scheduled on the second Thursday of
- each month. For the remainder of 1992, these dates are
- September 10th, October 8th, November 12th and December
- 10th.
