- Two fairly quick questions:
-
- Can VREPAIR from NW 3.11 be run on a 2.15 server, or will it eat the
- older bindery for lunch? It'd be nice to have one set of clean-up
- utilities to keep track of, instead of two.
-
- Does anyone have a name/number for the producers of a backup product
- called "PowerSave"? We recently got a 4mm DAT (Legacy 2200D) which
- came with Sytos Plus. Sytos Plus sucks worse than regular Sytos
- (only got 1.74 GB on a 2.2 GB tape, incredibly S-L-O-W, halts with
- an idiotic screen when it comes to a file without an owner or has
- a problem reading files, so it has to have constant attention, etc.)
- One of our customers, who will be needing to send us large amounts
- of data on DATs, uses PowerSave, and I think it'd be a great excuse
- to justify some better software. I have to swap DC6150s with the
- Sytos/Wangtek combo, but it still runs faster than the Syplus/Legacy.
-
- Thanks!
- Gary
