  13. I would like to use the HP laserjet printers mounted on our novell network
  14. for printing from a local unix system.

  16. The problem is that although we have configured our novell-nfs to accept
  17. lpr requests and even route them through to the correct printer, when they
  18. start to print, the printer halts, expecting someone standing next to the
  19. printer to feed single sheets into it.  The laser printer has a double bin,
  20. which is where we want the paper to come from.

  22. I have experienced this problem before from using the wrong printer drivers
  23. in wordperfect, under DOS.

  25. Which part of the system might the fault lie in?  We arent using forms on
  26. Novell.
  27. I have no idea about printcap( on unix ), perhaps there is some nifty field
  28. I can change in that.
