- I would like to use the HP laserjet printers mounted on our novell network
- for printing from a local unix system.
-
- The problem is that although we have configured our novell-nfs to accept
- lpr requests and even route them through to the correct printer, when they
- start to print, the printer halts, expecting someone standing next to the
- printer to feed single sheets into it. The laser printer has a double bin,
- which is where we want the paper to come from.
-
- I have experienced this problem before from using the wrong printer drivers
- in wordperfect, under DOS.
-
- Which part of the system might the fault lie in? We arent using forms on
- Novell.
- I have no idea about printcap( on unix ), perhaps there is some nifty field
- I can change in that.
-
- Please reply via email, my access to news is a bit flakey.
