  12. I'm in the process of developing a standardized workstation
  13. configuration for my facility.  Specifically memory, but as long
  14. as I'm here, I'd like to visit all options.

  16. Netware 3.11.
  17. The majority of workstations have the following specs:
  18.       386 4M ISA, DOS 5, Netroom, could purchase memory manager
  19.       if need more than DOS 5 and Netroom, 3com nics, ipx, netx,
  20.       mouse, min buffers=50, min files=128, min environment
  21.       space=600.  The only "tsr" will be LANSelect (4k, but swaps
  22.       apps to expanded).  NO Windows.
  23. Apps: WordPerfect, Lotus 2.4, Fox/Clipper Su'87/Clipper 5.0
  24.       databases.  There is more, and each will use expanded, but
  25.       not extended.

  27. I've got plenty to read and play with, but your experiences in
  28. reality will be invaluable.  From specific syntax to where I
  29. should start and what to avoid would all be appreciated.  I'm
  30. starting with DOS5 since it's new to me - oh boy!
