  14.   Does anyone know why the NeXT recognizes a WORM drive and assigns it to  
  15. /dev/rsdx. The rs device driver has no idea how to handle a WORM drive and  
  16. autodiskmount totally barfs on it. It seems to me that the OS should ignore the  
  17. drive if it doesn't know how to handle it.

  19. This is hampering my efforts to right my own driver to handle the drive.
