- I've seen references on the net to something called NFSExtend, which I believe
- is a shell script (?) that allows a NeXT without the Extended version of the
- software to get access to the Extended software from an NFS server that has it.
- My recollection is that it works by mounting the root of the server on the
- small-disk system and then defining links for all the missing software -- or
- something like that. I also saw a reference to it in NeXT's documentation for
- the 3.0 beta test.
-
- Can someone tell me whom (person? email address? other?) to contact at NeXT to
- get this thing? Or anything about how to obtain it? Thanks for any help.
