- Greetings,
-
- We just installed a WANGDAT 3200 for tape backups, but the software we
- ordered to work with it: "SavetyNet" (mentioned in the last article in
- NeXTWorld Mag.) won't arrive for a while yet. I need to test this thing
- and make sure it's working (I did all the internal connections...scsi
- chaining inside a Sigma 2 bay drive etc., so there was a certain amount of
- guess work.).
-
- I'd appreciate any help/advice on some commands I could use to test this
- tape device and see if the cube seems to acknowledge it and will dump
- files to it. I know virtually nothing of this thing so any advice is
- welcome.
-
- Many thanks

- ps it hasn't exploded yet, so that's a good sign that I connected the
- power supply properly ! (no >?)
