- Hello:
-
- I was wondering how I could get my NeXT to allow Suns to print on
- it. I have made a test printcap entry on the Suns, but access
- continues to be denied.
-
- I ran PrintManager on the NeXT and tried setting the domain to
- "/" (the default), but I got an error message saying that I could
- not export printer access to itself (maybe something about setting
- it's domain to it's own?).
-
- I don't know much about NetInfo and am new to the NeXT so I don't
- know much about domains. I thought that the NeXT's hostname must
- be in at least one of the domains (kinda like /etc/hosts). I do
- know that I cannot make another domain containing the machine I
- want to export to unless I start running a NetInfo network, which
- is NOT what I want to do.
-
- Thanks in advance.
