- Hi all,
-
- I've been asked to see if I can locate a good free/cheap implementation of
- Common Lisp for NeXT TurboSlabs running NeXTstep 2/3 - and yes, I believe
- that that rules out Allegro. In particular, we are looking for a CL that
- implements CLOS - the "Object System".
-
- So far as I can tell, the four leading CL players are:
-
- Allegro & Lucid - both costly commercial implementations
- [Austin] Kyoto - doesn't include CLOS
- CMU CL - free, good, does CLOS, for Mach,...but not for NeXTs!
-
- Can anyone correct me on any of these points?
- Are there any alternatives that I haven't heard of?
-
- TIA, replies by mail puh-leez, NeXTmail *not* welcome.
