  13. Sorry if this question has been asked and answered several times but
  14. I am new to this group and have not seen any related postings here.

  16. My question is this, we have a network of NeXT machines each running
  17. NeXTmail and their mailboxes are local on each users machine. These 
  18. people want to be able to read/reply to there mail from on the road
  19. using either a notebook PC or a PowerBook dialing in through a SLIP
  20. line. I have looked into running a POP server on each machine and 
  21. then using a POP SLIP client on the portables but then either the 
  22. mail remains in the mail spool to be gotten a second time by the 
  23. POP client or it is removed from the spool not allowing 
  24. incorporation into the Nextmail system. I recall some mention of
  25. PINE in an earler posting, will that do what we need.

  27. Any feedback on this problem would be helpful. I am new to Nextmail
  28. and pointers would be very useful.
