  10. I am going to receive my NeXT in a week or so, and I know see from the postings
  11. that there is a good chance of getting 3.0 on the machine.  I have already
  12. outlined the books I am going to order (the P.O.'s are written up), and they
  13. are for the 2.0 release books. (reference, developers guide, etc.)  I am going
  14. to be jumping write in to developing an application (which is what the NeXT is
  15. for) and I am dreading getting 3.0 and manuals that are going to be of no use
  16. to me.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I would love to wait an get the 3.0
  17. docs when they come out, but I am not going to be able to wait that long before
  18. I have to be knee deep in programming.  Are the 2.0 books going to be of any
  19. help at all with 3.0?  Is the documentation on the system, like in the
  20. librarian so I can just bag the manuals and print them out and buy them when
  21. they get released?

  23. Also, is there any reference manuals available now for programming on the NeXT
  24. (info on the compiler, classes, general rules, etc.)?
