  24. I think the scoop is that NXBitmapImageRep now supports the same formats
  25. as window devices;  You can't write directly to the screen, but you can 
  26. supply bitmaps that can be blasted into the Window Server's window devices  
  27. without unpacking.

  29. This can make things like emulators and alternate Window Servers much
  30. faster.
