  34. Well depending on what you are printing to it can be rather
  35. easy.  Since the NeXT supports Level 2 you will need to convert
  36. your file (ie printer to a printer driver that is non Level 2)
  37. or print to a printer driver that is Level 2 if you are going to
  38. a Level 2 printer on the other system.  You could also avoid
  39. sneaker net by going Ethernet or go serial.  But in this
  40. special sounding case you might want to copy the file to floppy
  41. (the ps file you printed) and sneaker it over.  So, after that
  42. long explaination of the ideas, here is what I do when I go
  43. to a Lino 300 across the street from our Network...
  44.  
  45. o    Create a 'new' printer in the PrintManager.app
  46. o    Make it a LaserWriter NTX
  47. o    Call it 'BozoPrinter'
  48. o    From the program (say Frame) Preview this document
  49.     with the 'BozoPrinter' selected as your printer
  50. o    From Preview.app save the document. (will be level 1)
  51. o    Take it to your favorite service bureau or network
  52.     to print.  Remember to carry it on a MSDOS or Mac
  53.     formatted disk.  I know of no system that recognizes
  54.     NeXT format disks. (don't bother sending me flames
  55.     since I never have need to have another system read NeXT
  56.     formatted disks)... ;')
