  16.     The 83 version of the original PD Matlab has been ported to  the
  17.     NeXT and is on the archives. The current MathWorks MATLAB has
  18.     not been officially ported to the NeXT, as Cleve Moler still 
  19.     thinks that there is not a large enough market to support it.
  20.     There have been a couple of email and write-in campaigns to try
  21.     and convince MW to do the port, even as an X-windows version, but
