- Well if this is based on what I was suggesting, the concept has mutated a
- bit. What I had in mind were e-mail response servers maintained by the
- vendors themselves, analogous to automatic info servers. There was an
- excellent article in NeXTwatch a few months back which shows how to set up
- automatic e-mail servers. In a post to c.s.n.a the vendor could put "For
- current pricing, send e-mail to prices@niftysoft.com and you will receive
- an automatic reply containing a price and policies sheet".

- I think an archive server would be tedious, and I don't think it's the
- moderator's job to maintain such things anyway.
