  18. Careful!  If those font programs are copyrighted (ie,
  19. any font program from Adobe or Bitstream) then doing this
  20. would be illegal.  Distribute a font *only* if you know
  21. it's a public-domain font program.

  23. 'grep' for 'Copyright' in the font program file; if it's
  24. there, the font program is copyrighted.  If it isn't,
  25. you can't be sure.
