- In December of '90 MusicProse for the NeXT was listed in the NeXT software
- catalog and Coda was sending out Mac literature with a 'MusicProse on
- the NeXT' sticker stating that it would be shipping on March 3 (maybe May 3).
- Anyway, in January of 1991 Coda had a change of management and immediately
- dropped MusicProse for NeXT in favor of developing for Windows 3.0 (at that
- time). I spoke with the president of Coda last January at N.A.M.M. and
- he assured me that the development efforts were no where near ready when
- it got canceled and that there were no plans to deviate from Windows and
- Mac platforms. I don't remember his name off hand but he did seem receptive
- to a third party developer working with Coda to make things happen for
- NeXT. He told me to put something in writing and we'd talk. My development
- team broke up (Windows again ughh) and I never pursued it.
-
- I've been looking around for Music Notation on the NeXT and have a few ideas
- including networking to a Mac and putting its screen on the NeXT. Anybody
- else out there have any solutions?

- e-mail is O.K.
