  23. Hi folks,

  25.     I am considering buying a NeXTStation, and was wondering if
  26. there is anybody out there in the geosciences (or similar) that uses
  27. one currently for research purposes. I would appreciate any opinions
  28. re. advantages or disadvantages to using NeXT machines (rather than 
  29. PC's or other UNIX machines), for such diverse tasks as mathematical 
  30. modelling, creation of maps, writing, and preparation of slides for
  31. presentations etc. So, is the NeXT a nice reliable, well-rounded 
  32. machine ?
