  17. Probably not different at all from a functional perspective.  Either way,  
  18. a sound is played when new mail arrives.  However, with Mail.app doing the  
  19. work, you don't need a ~/.forward file at all.  Beginners would appreciate  
  20. this (I suspect just an open panel away from making it work).
