  12. I have been off for vaccations and could not follow the regular Fax
  13. thread. Now since a friend of mine moved, I have no longer a fax
  14. conveniently at hand. The solution is a fax modem, preferably a
  15. fax/data modem. Now of course I'd like to get one of the
  16. V.32bis/V.42bis/V.42/MNP 2-5,10... modems e.g. SupraFAX, Practical
  17. Peripherals, etc. and not one of these old slow ones. (e.g. HSD) Since
  18. I need the modem relatively fast, I'd buy one of the HSD thingies if
  19. there is no other choice. But I should need to know what the state of
  20. the affair is right now. After all HSD has their sale only until 31
  21. August...
