  13. I am using a DoveFax modem on my NextStation serial port, and I have it  
  14. configured to mail incoming faxes to me.  I have NextMail 2.0 (v63)
  15.  
  16. The faxes drop nicely into Active.mbox, with no problem.  HOWEVER, transferring  
  17. them to another mailbox can cause the fax attachment to be lost.

  19. Peering into the Active.mbox/ directory, I can see that the first one results  
  20. in an ./attach folder, and the next in an ./attach_0 folder (presumably the  
  21. subsequent fax received would engender an ./attach_1 and so forth).

  23. If I transfer a fax from Active.mbox into a mailbox (say, Faxes.mbox) which  
  24. already has a fax in it, the attachment from the new fax is dropped on the  
  25. floor.  I had collected (or so I thought) 10 fax messages into one mailbox,  
  26. only to discover that what I REALLY had was ten messages from various dates,  
  27. all containing the same index.rtf and pointing to the same fax file.

  29. Is this fixed somewhere?  How annoying!
