- We bought a NeXT with an ND board last year. We were supposed to get real-time
- JPEG with it. The chip is not around. What I really want is MPEG, so
- maybe it was a good idea to kill it. But if they told us we would get
- that capability eventually, they should fullfill their promise, one way
- or the other. Am I going to get a fair upgrade to the 100 MIPS machine
- able to do that in software due next year? After all the time that we've
- been waiting maybe it should be free.
