- I am having a problem with transferring files.
-
- I have a USRobotics dual standard modem at home, and an identical
- modem at school. My machine at home is a NeXT station and at
- school I am connecting to a sparcstation. I am attempting
- to transfer binary files using C-kermit 5A. The wierd thing is,
- I can transfer files from the sparc to the NeXT just fine, but
- when I attempt to go the other way nothing happens. I just get
-
- C-Kermit>send dgh.tar.Z
- SF
- dgh.tar.Z => dgh.tar.Z, Size: 18381
-
- X to cancel file, CR to resend current packet
- Z to cancel group, A for status report
- E to send Error packet, Ctrl-C to quit immediately: AN%N%N%N%N%N%N
- Resending packet %%N
- Resending packet %%N
- Resending packet %E
-
- If, at home I connect a Mac to the modem instead of the NeXT, the transfer
- works just fine. Two weeks ago this worked just fine.
- Our sys administrator at MIT tells me that nothing has
- changed at school, and, as far as I can tell, nothing has changed
- here at home.
-
- I am at a loss. ANY suggestions would be welcome.
