- I have just got all our Sparcstations to talk ntp (they are running xntpd),
- and one of these Suns also runs a master timed that is ntp-aware.
- Our AIX PS/2s run timed, as does our SGI Indigo, so all these machines
- are able to synchronise their time.
-
- This only leaves our central machine, an NCR 3450, not able to keep
- time. I have been looking all over for either an ntp or timed implementation
- that will compile under SVR4 with WIN-TCP. All the timed's I have found do
- not want to compile, either with the sys5 or bsd compiler. xntpd compiles
- but does not run due to the absence of certain kernel variables.
-
- Anyone managed to get a 34XX to keep time? How? Alternatively, where
- can I get any time daemon that will run under SVR4?
