- That's what I have been wondering myself also. From what I have gleaned so far
- the drive must be Hi Sierra (?) compatible (almost all are) and therefore can
- be accessed by the MSCDEX driver software. The drive must also be capable of
- sustaining a transfer rate of >= 150kb/s to support smooth full motion video.
- I've also heard talk about access time < 380ms but that does not jive with
- other information I've seen. For example Tandy sell a MPC system with their
- own CD ROM which although can transfer at the required rate, has an access
- time of 1000ms! Go figure!
