  13. I got a blurb in the mail today from a computer supply place, and one of
  14. the things in the catalog is a floptical drive--you know, a SCSI beastie
  15. that will do canonical 3.5" 720K and 1.44M disks AND do special floppy
  16. disks that will hold 20 Mbytes.

  18. Anyway, I got to wondering...the brand name mentioned is "GrassRoots
  19. Removable Disk Technology."  A company I have heard of in the past that
  20. makes this sort of drive is Insite.  Question: are we talking two
  21. incompatible drives here, or are we dealing with the same format?
  22. Heck, for all I know, GrassRoots may be an OEM for Insite, or something
  23. of that sort.

  25. I'm curious, because I'm thinking semi-seriously (when I have money :-)
  26. about getting one from somebody, and I'd hope that there aren't two
  27. different formats out there.
