- I just picked up a MIPS RS2030 from a local company that went out of
- business, and am interested in getting it up and running. I have no OS
- tapes, though the fact sheet states that it should have been running
- MIPS Risc/OS r4.10 Version uMIPS. Could someone help me get this to
- work by loaning me some tapes? Currently, it boots to the monitor, and
- then when I try "auto", it says "Can't read root inode". Not much of
- value happens after that.
-
- I'd appreciate hearing form anyone with any insights into this machine.
- I know nothings about it, but I do own some other *IX machines (Suns),
- so at least I have some idea of how to rebuild a system. Please help!
-
- Thanks!
