-
- I've dealt with the folks at Third Wave several times, and they've
- always been quite forthright about the capabilities of what they sell.
- They usually send me a FAX when their pricing changes, which I then
- give to the local campus conulating center.
-
- The most recent FAX I got from them (a few months back), had some note
- with it that claimed that the Radius Rocket -would- work in a NB4, but
- only when the NB4 was connected to a IIci. The main of it said that
- they -believed- it would work on any Mac that had 32-bit clean ROMs
- (ROMs mind you, not MODE32 patched Macs like our SE/30s) but that it
- had only been tested on a IIci.
-
- I find it -extremely- hard to believe that Second Wave said that the
- NB4 would "turn a IIsi into a IIci." Then again, I also find
- Christianity hard to believe, so we all know what my opinion is worth.
- <grin> My bet is that this is indeed a case of miscommunication - on
- the part of both parties.
-
- Hmmm... I may just have to do some research on this one...
