  25. I've dealt with the folks at Third Wave several times, and they've
  26. always been quite forthright about the capabilities of what they sell. 
  27. They usually send me a FAX when their pricing changes, which I then
  28. give to the local campus conulating center.

  30. The most recent FAX I got from them (a few months back), had some note
  31. with it that claimed that the Radius Rocket -would- work in a NB4, but
  32. only when the NB4 was connected to a IIci.  The main of it said that
  33. they -believed- it would work on any Mac that had 32-bit clean ROMs
  34. (ROMs mind you, not MODE32 patched Macs like our SE/30s) but that it
  35. had only been tested on a IIci.

  37. I find it -extremely- hard to believe that Second Wave said that the
  38. NB4 would "turn a IIsi into a IIci."  Then again, I also find
  39. Christianity hard to believe, so we all know what my opinion is worth.
  40. <grin>  My bet is that this is indeed a case of miscommunication - on
  41. the part of both parties.
