- I picked this hint up at the BCS booth at MacWorld:

- On the 100, if you remove the track ball, you will see two blue
- rollers. Push the vertical one all the way down on the shaft and the
- horizantial one all the way to the right. If you put the ball back in
- you will notice that you can no longer move the cursor. That's all
- right. Now you want to start moving the rollers, one at a time, back
- towards the middle of each shaft. Do it in small incraments and stop
- as soon as it starts moving the cursor. After doing this you will find
- that the ball rolls much smoother.
