  13. I have a IIci, 20 megs RAM, System 7 plus tuneup and quicktime, and
  14. tend to run with 32 bit addressing on.  Sometimes when I format a
  15. 1.4 meg floppy and then copy a large (say 800k) folder to it,
  16. the copy will complete, but then screen will go blank for an instant
  17. and the desktop will be redrawn.  It doesn't seem to hurt anything
  18. (i.e. the folder got copied ok and the desktop is intact) but it is 
  19. strange and I wonder if someone can explain what's going on.
