- Hi!
-
- I recently reformatted the internal hard drive of my Classic 4/40
- with HD SetUp from the DiskTools disk with System 7,
- and installed System 7.0 (by dragging copying it from my external
- hard drive), but it refuses to use the internal hd as a startup
- volume.
-
- It shows a happy mac, nothing, a happy mac, and a sad mac with the
- sad mac code 000000F over 00000063. I can't find this sad mac code
- documented anywhere and was just curious as to what it means.
-
- It boots fine with system 6.0.7 off the same drive, and if I copy the
- system 7 from the internal to the external, it can boot off the
- external drive with no problem.
-
- any ideas?
-
- thanks,
- Robb
