  12. From the volume of mail I have recieved from people interested in my
  13. findings on a screen inverter utility (from black on white to white on
  14. black) I think it is best if I summerize here.  Thanks to a number of
  15. individuals for pointing out that the Closeview cdev distributed with
  16. system 7 (I'm not sure about earlier releases) does this trick.  On my
  17. distribution disks (7.0) the file can be found on the install 3 disk.  A
  18. quick drag to the system folder and a restart was all that was needed.  The
  19. only drawback is that the cdev also draws a square white border around the
  20. mouse pointer.  Richard Long pointed me to an fkey written by Howard
  21. Ridenour available through the usuall ftp sites that can do the inversion
  22. with a simple command-shift-0.  This worked well on my IIfx and someone
  23. reported that it also worked well for them on quadra internal video.  It
  24. worked well in both b&w as well as 8bit and I highly recommend it.
