  14. The usual desktop patterns on my Mac IIcx have disappeared and have been
  15. replaced by black and white patterns of the sort that appear in MacPaint.
  16. The control panel no longer has the little color palette under the desktop
  17. pattern,  so I can't change back to the old patterns.

  19. I am running sys 6.0.7.

  21. I was able to duplicate the problem by using res edit,  but I can't undo
  22. the problem.
