- I've got a Mac that "gets slow" after it's been up for a while. I
- suspect any number of causes, ranging from the disk driver to memory
- fragmentation in the system heap. It's a Mac II running 7.0.1*1.1.1
- with a "ton" of INITs. I'm not looking for an answer, but a tool to
- help me determine the answer. Ideally, this would help me determine
- things like
- 1. How much time is spent in each application (including faceless
- ones)
- 1a. "Hot spots" in memory (i.e., is a particular INIT or trap taking a lot of
- CPU?)
- 2. How many disk I/Os per second.
- 3. Memory usage/fragmentation.
-
- Does anyone know of a tool that does this or some subset? Please
- respond by mail.
