- That is what I heard from a medium sized network in Mississipi. I myself
- have tried FolderBolt, but found it too buggy. The makers also promised me
- a fix when I discovered that you couldn't export to different file formats
- in Word 5.0. That was in June. So it seems to me that there is a very
- great need for a program like FileGuard or Folderbolt to (a) prevent people
- from copying software in a Mac lab, and (b) prevent people from deleting
- important files or adding crazy fonts and das -- ALL WITHOUT IMPEDING THE
- OPERATION AND ESPECIALLY TEMP FILE CREATION OF OTHER PROGRAMS. I would
- heartily support a university Mac Lab Managers' Interest Group devoted to
- this issue. Right now I'm at a total loss - I have to waste hours cleaning
- up the lab all the $#%&* time.
