- Roger Bates' shareware utility, RamDisk+3.14 does all of this, though
- I don't know whether you can use it to transfer control to System 7.
- Also, I don't know if you would see much of a performance advantage,
- since much of the System/Finder is already loaded into RAM. Certainly
- you'd see very little improvement in the performance of applications
- other than possibly the Finder...

- I use RamDisk with a copy of System 6.0.7 on a floppy, so I can boot
- using System 6.0.7 (I have sys. 7 on my HD) occasionally, and not
- tie up my floppy drive -- it ejects it automatically after switching
- to the System on the RamDisk.
