  11.     I have been trying to receive a digital input signal from the 
  12. standard MAC serial ports.  My first attempt at this used the GPI line
  13. and the tech note information (286?).  However this did not appear to
  14. work on a Quadra.  The only explaination that I have for this is that
  15. there is not any SCC support on the Quadra which is stated as required
  16. in the tech note.

  18.     Then I changed the hardware and software to use the CTS line and
  19. to generate driver events with CTS state transitions.  I can not get this
  20. to work either.

  22.     Does anyone have any good ideas on how to get a digital signal input
  23. using the standard equiped MAC II and up computer?  This is a development
  24. project so the hardware is somewhat flexible.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
