  12.    First off, I'm using MIDI Manager v1.2 and I'm not sure where an
  13. update can be obtained.  More importantly, I'm seeking technical
  14. information on communicating with MIDI devices through it.
  15.    Side note:  I heard a nasty rumor that MIDI Manager will no longer be
  16. supported by Apple at all - so I'm not even sure if I should bother with
  17. this project.  Are MIDI applications these days primarily just dealing
  18. with the serial port(s) directly, or using propriety systems (like
  19. Opcode's OMS)?
  20.    I glanced through a Technical Notes stack, along with Inside Mac V
  21. and couldn't find any mention of MIDI Manager.  I'd be very grateful if
  22. someone could point me in the right direction here.
