  11. IMPORTANT MPW C 3.2.3 NOTICE:

  14. We have discovered a significant code generation bug in the
  15. MPW C v. 3.2.3 compiler that was recently shipped as part of
  16. "Latest MPW" on E.T.O. #8 and as part of the MPW v. 3.2.3
  17. product family.  You should NOT use this version of the C
  18. compiler for your development work.
  19.  
  20. We are working to quickly correct the problems in the
  21. MPW C v. 3.2.3 compiler.  Until we can send out an interim
  22. or final fix to this problem, we would recommend that you use
  23. an earlier final version of the MPW C compiler:
  24. --MPW C v. 3.2, or
  25. --MPW C v. 3.2.2, which was only distributed on E.T.O. #7.
  26.   It can be found in the following location:
  27.   "E.T.O. #7:Tools - Objects:MPW:Latest MPW:MPW:Tools:C"

  29. Information on interim and final fixes to this problem will
  30. be posted to this board early next week.  An interim and/or
  31. final fix to this problem will be mailed directly to all
  32. customers affected at no additional charge.
