- I was wondering if anyone knows of a MemWatcher which works with system 7.
- I tried downloading MemWatcher and using it with 7, but with predictable
- results - crash and burn!
-
- MemWatcher supposedly (I never used it under 6.x.x) caught applications
- when they wrote to memory outside their own allocations. I think the
- memory manager calls were slowed down to about half the speed as a result
- of the overhead, not too bad if you are trying to catch an intermittently
- broken pointer!
-
- Any system 7 extensions out there which perform the same function ?
-
- Thanks,
-
