  13. The _Macintosh Inside Out_  series thus far has been quite good.  But 
  14. _Extending the Macintosh Toolbox_ is *really bad*.  I'm pissed off that
  15. I spent good money on a book with lots of sample code that is just *bad*.
  16. Much of it won't compile, and was clearly converted from pascal to c.

  18. I got the book because it looked like it had some good stuff in it; now I
  19. really wish I had looked it over more carefully.
