- Hello Mac gurus. This may be the idiot question of the day. I am a novice at
- MacIntosh, having aquired a brand-new second-hand SE/30. (I am experienced
- with systems like Sun workstations and IBM mainframes.) I have pulled several
- files from ftp sites that have the extension .hqx. I assume that means they have
- been compressed with binhex. My question is what software is required to
- debinhex the files? Does the software come with System7? Is it something I
- need to buy from Apple? Do I need to get the software via ftp? If it is the last
- case, will it come compressed with binhex? ;-)
-
- Thanks in advance for the enlightment.
