- I am using MacTCP 1.1 and having problems resolving cnames
- (host domain name aliases). The DNR code will let me resolve a
- cname no more than eight times. An attempt to resolve the cname
- a ninth time returns a -1 OSErr. Has anyone else had this
- error? I have a work around (my own cache of resolved names),
- but would like to remove this bug. Thanks.
-
- NOTES:
- OpenResolver() is called only once in the program.
- Using Falkenburg's ConvertStringToAddr().
- Using DTS' MacTCP interface procedures.
- Using TCL 1.x w/ THINK C 5.0.2
- System 7.0.1 with Tune-Up on a Macintosh IIcx.
