- I have recently developed a problem with my THINK C 4.0. Last time I
- used it (April - before summer break) everything was working fine an dandy.
- Now, something has gone horribly wrong. I would like to solve this problem
- because it will allow me to work on home and not walk onto campus all the time.
-
- When I launch THINK C, and the dialog asking for a project comes up, one
- of three things will happen. If I hit "cancel", the program will be fine -
- although I can't do anything with out a project open. If I create a new
- project, I will get the dialog asking for a name - after I enter the name and
- hit "ok" the program quits and the system brings up a dialog telling me that
- an error of type one has occurred. If I try to open one of my old projects,
- the program freezes up - sort of. I can still move the cursor (still as an
- arrow) to my hearts content, but cannot do anything. None of the menus (still
- those of THINK C) will respond and neither will anything on the desktop -
- forcing me to manually restart.
-
- If someone can up with any suggestions, I would appreciate them.
-
- If someone has a current phone number for Symantic's TechServ, I
- would appreciate that also. The number in my manual has been dissconnected.
-
- Thank you much.
