  12. I looked into several sources of information and this is what I found about RAM
  13. in a Mac IIsi:

  15.   -The hardware limits the RAM to 1 Gb (not 4 Gb).

  17.   -The ROMs are 32-bit clean (no MODE32 needed).

  19.   -Mac IIsi can use 256k, 1M, 2M, 4M, 8M and 16M SIMMs. I cant find out about
  20.    bigger SIMMs (32M and 64M doesnt exist yet?)

  22.   -Mac IIsi has four SIMM-slots.

  24.   -Mac IIsi has 1 Mb soldered onto the motherboard.

  26. The result of this is that Mac IIsi can be congfigured as follows:

  28.   -1 Mb, 2 Mb, 5 Mb, 9 Mb, 17 Mb, 33 Mb and 65 Mb.
