  15. Anyway... I see a clear trend here... Both HP and Apple are doing major
  16. product "flushes" to clear the system of old product. Use loss/leader
  17. tactics to clear the queue of old product... maybe tied to new product 
  18. orders?

  20. Certainly increases the individual dealer volume, thus discount.

  22. Large dealers like Microcenter have done this on laserjets and Apple's
  23. now for several months. I see a direct correlation between new product
  24. anouncements and firesales of previous generation products.

  27. price drops!
