- While installable as an INIT under system 6 (beginning with 6.0.3?),
- 32-bit QuickDraw is built into system 7. The INIT is not required if
- you are running system 7.
- What does it do? Give you access to over 16 million colors
- if you have hardware support, and allows you to dither them if you only
- have software support. Helps with display and color printing. Makes
- QuickTime movies work, too (and look a heck of alot better when using
- 24-bit color).
